Most of these scholarships reoccur on an annual basis and tend to have similar requirements as well as opening and closing dates for their applications year after year. Review the scholarships below to start compiling a list of scholarships you can apply for next year.

    The Washington State Opportunity Scholarship (WSOS) supports low- and middle-income students pursuing eligible high-demand science, technology, engineering, math (STEM) majors, or health care. It encourages recipients to work in WA State once they complete their degrees.

    The NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing (AiC) honors 9th-12th grade students who self-identify as women, genderqueer, or non-binary for their computing-related achievements and interests and encourages them to pursue their passions. Award recipients are selected based on their aptitude and aspirations in technology and computing, as demonstrated by their computing experience, computing-related activities, leadership experience, tenacity in the face of barriers to access, and plans for post-secondary education.

    The Wells Fargo Scholarships for Undergraduate American Indian and Alaska Native Students will fund full-time, degree-seeking college freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors who hold a current GPA of 2.7 or higher with up to $5,000 for one year of study in any chosen major at any accredited institution in the United States.

    This is for native students pursuing a degree in veterinary medicine (DVM) or veterinary technology (associate of applied science degree).

    Established in 2006, the 1-800-wheelchair scholarship fund bestows one or two $500 awards each year. In the past, we've asked applicants to explore mobility issues on campus, overcome personal challenges, and more.

     The American Indian College Fund supports American Indian and Alaska Native college students seeking technical, undergraduate, and graduate degrees at tribal colleges and other nonprofit, accredited schools. Any Native American U.S. citizen who is a member or descendant of a state or federally-recognized tribe with at least a 2.0 grade point average and enrolled as a full-time student can apply for a scholarship.

    For 7-12 graders. You must submit up to 3 haiku poems. All haiku must be previously unpublished, original work, & not entered in any other contest or submitted elsewhere for publication.

    Selected students who are studying computer science will receive a $10,000 scholarship.

    Lime Connect strongly believes in the potential of high school students with all types of disabilities and is committed to supporting their future. 

    Eligibility Requirements: 2024 Scholarship Applicants must match the following criteria:

    • Have, or consider themselves to have a visible or invisible disability*
    • Current high school senior in the U.S. or Canada, graduating in the Spring or Summer of 2024
    • Accepted to, or applied and awaiting acceptance to, a 4-year university or college in the U.S. or Canada for the 2024-2025 academic year
    • Intending to be enrolled full-time in that 4-year university or college in Fall 2024

    Scholarships are awarded annually and must be used at one of 1890 Historically Black Land-Grant Universities. Each award provides full tuition and room and board for the term of the scholarship. The scholarship may be renewed each year, contingent upon satisfactory academic performance and normal progress toward the bachelor's degree.

    Incight awards up to one hundred scholarships to students with disabilities who have demonstrated outstanding merit in giving back to the community and overcoming obstacles to pursue higher education. These scholarships range in value from $500 to $2,500.

    The KMR Group Foundation seeks to recognize accomplished students, invest in their potential, and assist them in funding their education. Every spring, the KMR Group Foundation awards several scholarships to seniors graduating from high schools in Clark or Cowlitz counties. The scholarships range from $1,000 to $3,500 per school year and may be renewable for up to four years, provided the recipient conforms to the requirements outlined in the award.

    The USDA 1994 Tribal Scholars Program combines classroom study with paid work experience, leading to USDA employment. Through this program, USDA seeks to boost the number of students studying and graduating in food, agriculture, natural resources, and other fields of study and help build the pipeline of future agricultural scientists and professionals.  The program also strengthens USDA partnerships with 1994 land-grant institutions.

    The program provides full tuition, employment, employee benefits, fees, books, and room and board each year for up to 4 years to selected students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, food science, natural resource science, or a related academic discipline at one of 35 federally recognized tribal colleges and universities. The scholarship may be renewed each year, contingent upon satisfactory academic performance and normal progress toward the bachelor's degree.

    ($250-$2,000) - LNESC and LULAC established the LULAC National Scholarship Fund (LNSF) to help youth in underserved communities realize the dream of college enrollment. Students submit a 300-word (maximum) essay on how their academic studies will contribute to their personal & professional goals. In addition, please discuss any community service or extracurricular activities you have been involved in that relate to your goals.
