Plan for Next Year - View Past Scholarships

Most of these scholarships reoccur on an annual basis and tend to have similar requirements as well as opening and closing dates for their applications year after year. Review the scholarships below to start compiling a list of scholarships you can apply for next year.

    ($28,000) - The JRF scholarship is awarded to outstanding high school graduates who plan to earn a baccalaureate from an accredited four-year college or university. Additional Scholars are given JRF fellowships to pursue opportunities to work and study abroad and for post-graduate education.

    Must be nominated: The Washington World Fellowship is a 2.5-year global leadership program that aims to empower young leaders through college preparation, leadership training, and international travel. Open to 15 new students each year, the fellowship is administered at no cost to its participants. Starting their sophomore year, Washington World Fellows begin a rigorous college preparation program that includes college research, mentoring, and preparation for college entrance exams. The program helps students prepare their college and scholarship applications, supports their academic goals, and more.

    For college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with financial assistance to pursue higher education. This national program annually awards numerous students $10,000 in renewable scholarships.

    Open to HS seniors. Citizenship/legal residency is required. A total of $20,000 is awarded. Ten (10) winners will receive a scholarship of $2,000 each.

    The Stromberg’s Chicken scholarship provides a one-time reward of $1000 for tuition, books, computers, accommodation, or any education-related expense. There’s no GPA requirement and no application forms.

    Mann Lake’s scholarship is for college students who aspire to be outstanding and extraordinary. We are looking for academically excellent students pursuing a better education who are currently enrolled in or about to enroll in an apiology program, majoring in agriculture and environmental sciences or related studies.

    ($1,500) - In 250 words or less, submit a response to the question: "Create a Top Ten List of the top ten reasons you should get this scholarship."

    ($10,000) - For students 14 and up. Submit an online written response to the question: "Would you rather be smart, funny or rich? Why?" (250 words or less).

    Open to all U.S. HS students. Applicant must submit an original poem with 20 lines or less. Up to $500.

  • 2024-12-30

    $1,000 - This is an award for any current or soon-to-be undergraduate student in the United States who has had their life altered due to an injury from a car or truck accident, be it their injury that of a loved one or an influential individual. The Dirk Derrick Scholarship has a quick submission process. Applicants will be judged on their ability to convey an auto accident's lasting effect on their life and their journey to overcome those challenges.

    From Get Schooled. Who’s Eligible?: Current High School Juniors and Seniors (Classes of 2025 & 2026).  Award: $2,000 Scholarship (Five (5) Scholarships in Total)

    For HS seniors. No citizenship is required. History of leadership &/or allyship in issues that affect the LGBTQIA+ community. Must plan to continue this leadership/allyship in the future—no specific GPA but seeking candidates with/ high academic performance.

    The $25,000 “Be Bold” Scholarship is an accessible no-essay scholarship that will be awarded to the applicant with the boldest profile.
