GEAR UP school-based staff are expected to understand and follow the guidance to ensure full compliance with all requirements.

Other GEAR UP programs may use the guidance and forms as reference for their programs but be advised that some content is specific to WAGU and may not apply to your state, local, or other guidance.

2026 NCCEP/GEAR UP Annual Conference

July 19–22, 2026 | Washington, DC

The NCCEP/GEAR UP Annual Conference is the national convening of professionals, parents, students, policymakers, and community partners who support GEAR UP programs and the students they serve. By attending, you will gain ideas, strategies, and tools to better serve GEAR UP students through inspiring plenary sessions, concurrent sessions, and networking opportunities.
