The 18th Annual GEAR UP West Conference will be held October 27-29, 2024, at the Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
About the Conference
The GEAR UP West Conference is a premier event for college access and success practitioners, bringing together professionals primarily from the Western part of the United States. This collaborative regional conference provides a platform to share effective practices, innovative strategies, and fresh perspectives for supporting postsecondary education attainment and workforce readiness among low-income and historically underrepresented students. Registration opens May 20th.
Call for Proposals
We are currently accepting proposals for presentations that align with our conference themes and objectives.

- We encourage presentations that offer practical, replicable, and adaptable solutions to the challenges faced by our students and communities.
- Submission Guidelines
- All sessions are one hour and fifteen minutes long.
- Presenters are required to register and pay the conference registration fee.
- Discounted registration fees are available for primary and secondary presenters.
- Noncommercial presentations are welcome, provided they are content-focused and do not require participants to purchase a product or service.
