Both the Military and AmeriCorps offer a chance to serve and offer help paying for higher education. 

  • AmeriCorps. In national service programs, you commit to addressing critical community needs like increasing academic achievement, mentoring youth, fighting poverty, sustaining national parks, preparing for disasters, and more. Serve and earn an Education Award of up to $6,095/year.  
  • GEAR UP Military Exploration Resources. Get started on exploring the military as a post-high school pathway. 
  • Today’s Military. Explore the individual service branches and career paths available to you.
