GEAR UP Graduate Services

Staff resources to support high school graduates from Washington State GEAR UP's program. 

Washington State GEAR UP (WAGU) students can continue to receive career and college support for up to one year after high school graduation. 

The following schools are a part of WSAC's WAGU grant program: 

  • Brewster High School
  • Chelan High School
  • Elma High School
  • East Grays Harbor High School (Elma)
  • Entiat High School
  • J.M. Weatherwax (Aberdeen)
  • Manson High School
  • North Beach High School
  • Oakville High School
  • Okanogan High School
  • Pateros High School
  • Rochester High School
  • White Pass High School

WAGU Scholarship

1 Helps cover various educational costs, including tuition, mandatory fees, books, materials, and even on-campus housing and meals.

2 Eligible students can receive a scholarship of up to $1,000.

Scholarship Information for Counselors, GEAR UP Advisors, & Staff

WSAC's current state GEAR UP program will support approximately 6,800 students each year, from 7th grade through their first year of post-high school education, with eligible students receiving scholarships of up to $1,000.

This scholarship is available to qualifying WAGU students who participated in the program between 2025 and 2031 and graduated from an eligible high school.
