    EOC is a nine-month college pipeline program hosted by the University of Washington Foster School of Business. The program currently serves 170 high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors from 75 schools in the state of Washington. Students attend sessions on the UW campus one Saturday every month for college preparation, business lectures, professional development, and powerful mentorship. YEOC is a FREE nine-month program. The only cost to students is transportation to UW Seattle.

    Open to K-12 students, college students, law school students, graduate students, adults 25 years and older, and seniors 65 years and older. Each age group has different requirements, so applicants should visit the website for details. Amount varies.

  • 06-05-25

    ($10,000)—This is the coolest scholarship contest around! Students are challenged to create and wear prom outfits made entirely from Duck Tape for the chance to win scholarship cash.

     

  • 06-27-25

    A $2,500 scholarship is offered to an HS graduate continuing his or her education in the aviation industry.

  • 06-30-25

    Open to all U.S. HS students. Applicant must submit an original poem with 20 lines or less, up to $500.

  • 06-30-25

    In 250 words or less, submit a response to the question: "If you could get one 'do-over' in life, what would it be and why?"

  • 07-31-25

    ($1,500) - In 250 words or less submit a response to the question: "Summer and ice cream go hand-in-hand. July is National Ice Cream Month, and that's the inspiration behind this award. People are very similar to ice cream; some are nutty, others a little exotic, and some are very comforting. If you were an ice cream flavor, which would you be and why?"

    ($1,500) - Make Me Laugh is a fun scholarship that lets you cut loose and lighten things up. Are you looking for a scholarship for comedians? Now is your chance to show us your funny bone. Perhaps you always have an embarrassing - but funny - story to share. Great! We'll promise to laugh with you, not at you. Must be 14 years of age or older at the time of application.

    An online platform that helps outstanding low-income high school seniors gain admission and full four-year scholarships to some of the nation's most selective colleges.

  • 09-30-25

    ($1,500) - In 250 words or less, submit an online response to the question: "If you could say one thing to the entire world at once, what would it be and why?"

  • 09-30-25

    ($100-$500) - Applicant must submit an original poem with 20 lines or less.

     

  • 09-30-25

    ($1,000) - Complete the application form, including a 140-character message about texting while driving. The top 10 applications will be selected as finalists. The finalists will be asked to write a full-length 500- to 1,000-word essay about texting while driving.

  • 10-15-25

    ($500) - Create a short video under 3 minutes on one of the topics/prompts available on the scholarship website.

  • 10-30-25

    Complete a series of Financial Genius for Life online learning modules for a chance to win.

  • 10-31-25

    ($2,000) - In 250 words or less, submit a response to the question: "Imagine that your high school or college has been overrun with zombies. Your math professor, the cafeteria ladies, and your best friend joined the Walking Dead. Flesh out a plan to avoid the zombies, including where you’d hide and the top five things you’d bring to stay alive."
