    We are dedicated to supporting Native American students pursuing higher education in natural resources.

  • 03-26-25

    For students from disadvantaged backgrounds pursuing careers in biomedical, behavioral, & social science health-related research. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a minimum 3.3 GPA or rank in the top 5% of their class & demonstrate exceptional financial need. Must be accepted to an accredited 4-year institution. Up to  $20,000  per year. Renewable for 4 years.

    Open to all U.S. HS students. Applicant must submit an original poem with 20 lines or less, up to $500.

    Minority HS seniors & college freshmen w/ a min. 3.0 GPA & an interest in media careers (business, creative, journalism, technology, or sales) are eligible to apply. During this multi-year internship, students in the program receive an hourly wage & matching scholarship. 

  • 04-01-25

    ($10,000)—The Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund aids people active in movements for social and economic justice. These need-based scholarships are awarded to students who can do academic work at the college or university level or are enrolled in a trade or technical program and who are active in the progressive movement.

    They are honoring outstanding young leaders (ages 8-18) who have focused on helping their communities and fellow beings and/or protecting the health and sustainability of the environment—$ 5,000.

    ($500) - Create a short video under 3 minutes on one of the topics/prompts available on the scholarship's website.

    The LEAP Rise Above Scholarship provides financial support for students who demonstrate advocacy, accountability, and perseverance and are committed to improving their community. It is open to any student regardless of citizenship status.  Amount: $2,500

    This is for students who work or have worked OR whose parent/legal guardian is or has worked as a farm worker.

    Each WWIN Star Scholar receives up to $5,000 per academic year, totaling up to $20,000 over her undergraduate career at any approved Washington college or university of her choice. This scholarship is available for women aged 18 and older.

    ($1,000) - Complete the application form, which includes a 140-character message about e-waste. The top 10 applications will be selected as finalists. The finalists will be asked to write a full-length 500- to 1,000-word essay about e-waste.

    The Intel Growing the Legacy Scholarship Program will support undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants must be current AISES members. Applicants must be an enrolled member or a decedent of an enrolled member of a federal or state-recognized American Indian Tribe or Alaska Native Village; a Native Hawaiian or decedent from a Native Hawaiian; or a Pacific Islander or decedent from Pacific Islander; or an Indigenous person of Canada.

    ($1,000) - This scholarship is awarded to American Indian/Alaska Native/Native Hawaiian AISES members pursuing the sciences, engineering, medicine, natural resources, math & technology degrees. Students are required to submit three essays (prompts provided), up to 1,000 words each.
